In the past, in a consortium with SystemIQ, providing strategic advice to the Indonesian Peatland Restoration Agency in designing the architecture of its financial mechanism, to raise, manage, and allocate about $4.6 billion to restore 2.6 million hectares of degraded peatlands. In a consortium with The Nature Conservancy, a global conservation organization, he advised the Ministries of Finance and of Environment and Forestry in designing the architecture of a Sustainable Land Bond, a bond structure to provide financial resources to achieve Indonesia\u2019s Nationally-Determined Contribution for the land-based sector under the Paris Agreement of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
