About the Keynote Speaker
Budi Gunadi Sadikin has served as the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia since December 2020. Before this role, he was the Vice Minister, Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Republic of Indonesia. His corporate career spanned the top level, primarily serving as Group CEO of PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero). Before this, he was trusted as the President Director of Bank Mandiri. A graduate of Nuclear Physics from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), he brings extensive experience in business, finance, and strategic management. As Minister of Health, he leads the transformation of Indonesia’s healthcare system, focusing on strengthening primary care, advancing health data digitalization, and promoting self-sufficiency in pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He has been deeply involved in public health initiatives, particularly in COVID-19 pandemic response management, health system reform, and the development of preventive and community-based healthcare programs. He will share with us the importance of combining knowledge, technology & innovation, empathy, and effective communication to ensure the healthcare system in Indonesia adds value to Indonesian society.

About the Keynote Speaker
Prof. Dante Saksono Harbuwono is a respected endocrinologist who currently serves as the Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Since 2014, he has been a Member of the Presidential Medical Expert Panel, contributing his expertise in advancing national health priorities with a science-driven and human-centered approach.
He previously served as Head of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia – Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (FKUI–RSCM) from 2017 to 2020. He has also led the Metabolic Disorder, Cardiovascular, and Aging Cluster at IMERI–FKUI from 2015 to 2020.
Beyond academia, Prof. Dante is a Board Member of the Global Fund, representing Indonesia in global health collaboration, combating AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. He also holds active roles in several professional medical associations, including PERKENI (Indonesian Society of Endocrinology) and the Indonesian Obesity Study Association, reflecting his lifelong commitment to advancing healthcare standards and public health awareness.
His keynote, “Health Communication in the Age of Misinformation: Building Public Trust for Better Lives,” will talk around:

About the Panelist
Rizky Ika Syafitri, known as Kiky, is a seasoned expert in Social and Behavior Change (SBC) with extensive experience in development programs, public health, humanitarian work, risk communication, and advocacy.
She brings a diverse skill set as a communicator and strategist, excelling in outbreak response, immunization, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), nutrition, child rights, and poverty reduction. Her expertise also spans public health communication, advocacy, strategic communication design, and interpersonal communication.
Currently, Kiky serves as a Social and Behavior Change Specialist at UNICEF Indonesia and chairs the Ministry of Health’s Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) Working Group.
During the COVID-19 response, she was a key member of the National Task Force (SATGAS) and the KPCPEN Communication Team, contributing to national-level communication and community engagement efforts that shaped public trust and behavior throughout the pandemic.
Her session, themed “Trust as Medicite: Restoring Confidence in Public Health through Behavior Change Communications,” highlights how empathy and storytelling beyond statistics can drive better health decisions. She will also discuss strategies on how to turn public information into public engagement in this digital and AI era.

About the Conversation Lead
Wanda has gained most of her experience in the healthcare industry in various areas of policy, communications, and public affairs for almost 30 years. She has also worked with various other industries, which include FMCG and Banking. Her previous companies include Indo Pacific PR, Novartis Indonesia, Dexa Medica Pharmaceutical, Population Council, Coca-Cola Amatil, Standard Chartered Bank, and Abbott Indonesia and Malaysia. She has an established network with a range of ministries and associations in Indonesia, which include the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Trade, as well as other relevant key stakeholders in healthcare/consumer business.
She’s been active as chairperson and key member of several task forces in associations in Indonesia, including APACMED, AMCHAM, USABC Indonesia, GAKESLAB, IPMG, and APPNIA. Wanda graduated from Parahyangan Catholic University, the Faculty of Social Politics, majoring in International Relations.
